BTEC level 2 Diploma In Multi Construction Skills  2011 – 2013

I started my time at Motorvate UK in 2011 when I was on a one day release course from President Kennedy Secondary School .I studied the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Construction which gave me the insight into loads of construction trades and allowed me to find confidence and ability to carry out working tasks at my grandparents home. I would strongly recommend the course to anyone as Motorvate is a friendly, easy going and helpful environment to work as a student.

Not only did I pass my Btec lv 2 Diploma with Distinction * but I also gained British Safety Council qualifications level 1 and 2, These qualifications allowed me to gain a college placement and apprenticeship in plumbing.

After I completed my Btec course I attended Motorvate “Surf” Summer provision course. I participated with an outdoor oven clay build, paint balling, practical driving, cv building and interview techniques, I met some great people and enjoyed the whole experience.

In 2015 I attended a Talent Match course for 12 sessions over the summer holidays at Motorvate UK where I gained more experience in construction and practical driving experiences, I worked with groups and gained confidence working and socialising with others. I  successfully achieved full time employment and gained my CSCS Construction card after completing a British Safety Council working in the Construction Environment Course at Motorvate.

I spent some time giving back to Motorvate UK by offering my volunteering services and maintaining the grounds around the facility. I enjoyed my experiences so much at Motorvate that I felt I wanted to return something after all the help and support they had given me. Motorvate have helped me progress in life from when I first started back in 2014 up until this present day, I owe a great deal of thanks to Jason, Phil and everyone else who have worked with Motorvate UK.
